Gianna (‘G’ as many call her) is a senior at Sunlake High School in Land O Lakes, Florida where she is on the FHSAA Track & Field (holding several school records) and Weightlifting teams.  Her high school athletic career has taken her to the Florida State Championships for the past 2 years in Track and past 3 years in Weightlifting.  In 2020 she won the Gold Class 2A State Championship title in her weight class. She also placed 4th in 2019 and 3rd in 2018.  The team has carried the state championship title for the past 2 years.

Outside of the FHSAA realm, Gianna is also a competing multi-event heptathlon athlete (USATF and AAU) for the Speed Starz Track Team.  She holds the AAU Bronze 2019 All-American Athlete women’s’ heptathlon award and has also scored points in individual events including long jump, high jump, 200M, and 4x100.  This is G’s 4th year on the team under Coach Bernard Roberts and being a strong heptathlete is her focus and desire.

G’s fierce drive and path to being a well-rounded athlete started at age 6 in competitive gymnastics (USAG and AAU) taking home numerous 1st place titles, she transitioned to competitive tumbling (USAG State competitor and Regional qualifier) and also competed on her high school diving team her sophomore year.
